Brand: Janina Krolzik

The inspiration for the collection was given by the famous song “Somewhere over the Rainbow”, which takes the listener on a fantasy trip and poses the question, what is waiting for him at the end of the rainbow: The Golden Bowl? With this question in mind Janina Krolzik developed a spring / summer collection for children aged three to seven years. The collection creatively deals with the dream of flying and disappearing into fantasy worlds.
The basic idea was to develop clothing that does not prevent children from playing, but inspires them. The collection creates an interface between apparel and playing by properties that allow the children a creative play.  A dress is mixed up with a cape that transforms the child into a superhero, a bird or whatever she dreams to be.

The young designer is inspired by her own happy childhood: “I want to express the freedom, wildness and unlimited imagination which I enjoyed as a child” says Janina about her collection.
