TOMMI: The children’s software award of Germany. And the Kurio Tab is one of the nominees. Now over 3.500 boys and girls from all over Germany decide who will be awarded the TOMMI price. The price will be awarded on Friday October 10th at the Frankfurter Buchmesse.  The Kurio Pocket features a stylish metallic red back. A new child’s interface and parental area is even more user-friendly and there is a new option for a child-safe email system, which allows the child to draw pictures in emails and also ensures that no unsuitable content gets through to their inbox.  For further options, each Kurio has access to Google Play, as well as the curated, child-friendly Kurio Store. There is also a Piggy Bank option in the Kurio Store, which enables parents to allocate their children a certain amount of money to spend, and when this runs out, they can send a wish list email to the account holder – putting an end to unexpected in-app purchase bills!
